Aflatoun Savings
In partnership with the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO), the Aflatoun Savings Program, provides an opportunity to pupils and students to save for their future use. The Program provides a 2% per annum of the savings of the members. As of December 2019, ADTEMPCO has partnered with 184 schools in the province of Abra and has 20,943 members with savings generation amounting to 20,016,423.12.
Summer Youth Skills and Development Camps ( Sports and Arts )
Knowing how the youth are always full of energy and potentials, ADTEMPCO initiated a week-long Skills Development Camp to the members. A bread and pastries seminar was conducted among the members of Bangued Branch, a guitar lesson was offered by Lagangilang Branch while a Sports training was organized by Sal-lapadan Branch.
Youth Empowerment Program
Youth Empowerment Program - in aiming to tap the different skillsets the youth sector possess and knowing these for their future use as cooperators and leaders, this program was initiated. Activities such as leadership and Team Dynamics, Entrepreneurship and Values Reorientation, the program surely projects the pivotal role of the youth in nation-building.
Youth Festival
Celebrated in the youth month of August, ADTEMPCO recognizes the talents of the youth in the field of performing arts. Vocal solo and duet competition as well as modern dance contests participated in by kindergarten to senior high school members are highlights of the event. Speakers were also asked to inspire the participants during the plenary as well as a fellowship that symbolizes the bond amongst the different participating schools. The Youth festival is one of the most anticipated events of the ADTEMPCO Children and Youth Program.
Teachers' conference
Held during the celebration of the Teachers' Month, this event provides partner schools with an opportunity to discuss financial literacy, mental health, inert and intra-personal skills and legalities in education. It also gave the participants an ample time to see the updates in the education system by tapping specialists and internationally renowned lecturers to be speakers.
Environmental Advocacies
With a strong belief on sustainability that goes along with development, the youth sector is imbued with the awareness on the need to have an orientation on environmental protectivism. Activities that help out maintain the cleanliness of communities were initiated such as Bantay gubat and Pera sa Basura, the latter also encourages savings for the aflatoun members.
