New set of coop leaders meet for orientation and training

FINISHERS ALL. Elected and appointed officers after completing their oath-taking, orientation and seminar as they take the challenge of an empowered Cooperative leadership.</b

Mt. Carmel, Pidigan – appointed and elected ADTEMPCO leaders gathered at Mt. Carmel Gymnasium in Pidigan, Abra last May 20-21, 2022 to officially take their oath and undergo orientation and seminar on their official roles and functions.

These leaders included the members of the Board of Directors, lead officers from the different chapters and the committees on audit and inventory, election, gender and development, education and training, mediation and conciliation and ethics.

Atty. Edwin Concepcion Jr., legal counsel of ADTEMPCO, served as resource speaker for the two-day activity. He gave a briefing on the history of cooperatives, the roles and functions of the various positions and committees as well as the basics of parliamentary procedures.

The objective of the orientation and seminar is to prepare the new sets of officers and leaders in their roles and functions in pushing forward the mission and vision of ADTEMPCO as embodied in the 5-Year Development Plan from 2021-2026. With this, the new leaders are expected to do their share in achieving the goals of the Cooperative for its members and the communities.
