Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. (MCATTCI), the province of Abra’s pioneer training center for the Agri-firshery sector, is proud of one of its alumnae, Ms. Jenna May C. Amasi. She graduated in Organic Agriculture Production NC II on July 10, 2018 under Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), which she believed that it is really in line with her skills and will help her for her future endeavors.

After graduating form college, Ms. Amasi enrolled the following Certificates of competency: Produce Organic vegetables, Produce Organic Concoction and Extracts, and Raise Organic Chicken leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II. Her passion and dedication during her training days led her immediately into an amazing opportunity. She was hired as a Nursery Staff of the Business Development Services Department of the Abra Diocesan Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ADTEMPCO). She was assigned to oversee the maintenance and market of the vegetable seedlings production department.

From a simple family, Ms. Jenna Amasi is a native of Brgy. Ayyeng, Manabo, Abra, the eldest child of Mr. Leonardo D. Amasi Jr., a farmer and a Tricycle Driver and Ma. Theresa C. Amasi, a Barangay Health Worker.

Taking Organic Agriculture Production scholarship from TESDA helped her to augment her familiarity and escalation in Agriculture. Because of her interest in farming, she dreamed of becoming one of the trainers of Agricultural qualifications. She has decided to enroll again in Trainers Methodology 1 under the Training for Work Scholarship Program and luckily, was able to passed the National Assessment and now a certified National TVET Trainer Certificated holder and an Accredited Trainer of Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. she also passed the National Certification Assessments in Animal Production Swine NC II and Agricultural Crops Production NC II.
