The pandemic is not a hindrance but a challenge to become more efficient and resilient in delivering services to the members and the communities.
This is the powerful motivation of ADTEMPCO to celebrate its 35th year amidst the COVID times. Since its inception in 1985, the cooperative rose from humble beginnings to what it is today, proving that it can withstand all the challenges. More than three decades later, ADTEMPCO is taking its stride to continue achieve its aspirations and goals together with its members.
In celebration of its founding anniversary, ADTEMPCO held its Grand Launching on March 8, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center, Inc. Gymnasium in Pidigan, Abra. The event started at 9:00 am with a Thanksgiving Mass led by Rev. Fr. Renato Amasi and attended by the BOD, officers and representatives from the different branches and business entities of the coop.
The program started with the welcome remarks and the Gender and Development Report by Ms. Merla Ruiz, Gender and Development Chairperson. She discussed about the Sex-disaggregated Data of ADTEMPCO having a total of 39,600 members and more or less 500 employees. She also narrated the activities done during the pandemic as well as the trainings and scholarships at Mt. Carmel Agri-Tourism and Training Center.
In her message, Engr. Irene Bringas, the Chief Executive Officer, outlined the activities in the 10-month long celebration of the founding anniversary which will end on November 2021. Fr. Cirilo Ortega, SVD, chairman of the BOD, thanked everyone for their cooperation in making the event a success.
Mr. Benjamin Blaza Jr., head of Credit Operations, formally closed the event with his inspiring message and thanked everyone who participated in the grand launching.
