From a simple family, Ms. Jenna Amasi is a native of Brgy. Ayyeng, Manabo, Abra, the eldest child of Mr. Leonardo D. Amasi Jr., a farmer and a Tricycle Driver and Ma. Theresa C. Amasi, a Barangay Health Worker.

Blademhir M. Mendoza is 24-year old bachelor from Dangdangla, Bangued, Abra. He is undergraduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture in the Abra Valley Colleges.

He learned from a friend that there are various training centers in Abra that are offering trainings from TESDA.

Born from the uplands in the mountainous part of Abra, Mrs. Apolonia S. Tabaday, a 57-year old resident of Gacab, Malibcong wasn’t able to finish studies. Tilling the fringes and farming the lands is the only way her parents taught her as a way of living.

For MARJON GALICIA, former barangay official of Gaddani, Tayum, farming is just another way of public service, when he established the first IFS farm in their place which caters to rice, vegetables and livestock.

Farming became his option because of his father who can no longer tend to their farm because of his advance age and was about to end his stint as barangay captain. He became only a full-time farmer when he signed up for the IFS program and he never looked back.
